Who is responsible

Sempre Como 1907 is an independent supporter publication operated from France. It is not affiliated with Como 1907. The publication is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@comofc.com.

Google AdSense and advertising identifiers

Substantial editorial pages may use Google AdSense. Google and other approved third-party vendors may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses or similar identifiers to deliver, limit, measure and report advertising. Google may use advertising cookies to select ads based on visits to this site or other sites. Utility pages, games, indexes, empty states and newsletter-only pages do not carry our AdSense code.

For visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, we use Google's certified consent management platform and its European regulations message. Advertising personalization and related storage remain denied until the required consent signal is available. You can change or withdraw a choice through the “Privacy and cookie settings” control Google provides on ad-supported pages.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate readership, such as pages viewed, approximate geography, device type and how readers find the site. Google may process an IP address and device or browser information. Advertising storage, analytics storage, ad user data and ad personalization default to denied; Google's consent message can update those signals when consent is required and given. We do not use Analytics to build our own named reader profiles.

You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Analytics retention follows the setting applied to the Google Analytics property; aggregated reports may remain after event-level data expires.

Newsletter and Hostinger Reach

The newsletter form is provided through Hostinger Reach. If you sign up, Hostinger Reach processes the details you submit—normally your email address, consent record and any optional name or phone information—along with service information needed to receive and secure the form. We use those details only to manage the Sempre Como newsletter and related subscription requests.

Newsletter information is kept while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, we remove it from active mailing use; a minimal suppression record may be retained when needed to honour the opt-out or meet legal obligations. Every campaign will provide an unsubscribe route. Hostinger's own processing is described in its privacy policy.

Browser storage and time-zone preference

The matchday tools can save a selected time zone in local browser storage so kick-off times remain useful on the same device. The games can also store local scores, initials and tutorial progress. These values stay in your browser rather than creating a Sempre Como member account. They remain until you clear this site's storage or replace the preference in the relevant tool.

Children's creative submissions

The Kids Fan Zone accepts material only from a parent or guardian using an adult's email account. We ask for confirmation that the adult is permitted to share the work. Nothing is published automatically. If approved, we use only an agreed first name or nickname and do not publish a child's surname, school, address, location or contact details.

Submission files and related correspondence are kept only as long as needed to review the work, document permission, publish an approved item and administer any later removal. A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to remove the item and erase the associated material, subject to any record we must retain by law. We do not knowingly accept submissions sent directly by children.

Other communications, security and retention

If you email a correction, editorial question or privacy request, we use the message and contact details to respond and keep the editorial record accurate. Server and security logs may include IP address, browser information, time and requested URL. We keep correspondence and logs only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose, security, dispute handling or a legal obligation, then delete or anonymise them.

Our legal bases, where required, are your consent for optional analytics, advertising personalization and newsletters; legitimate interests in publishing, securing and improving the site and handling editorial correspondence; and compliance with legal obligations.

Site typography is delivered from Google Fonts public asset servers. As with any requested web asset, Google may receive technical request information such as IP address, browser type and the font file requested. External links and embedded services are governed by their own privacy notices when you choose to use them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive your personal data; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and complain to a data-protection authority. Email hello@comofc.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify that a request relates to you before acting on it.

The publisher is established in France, so French law and applicable European Union data-protection law apply, without limiting mandatory rights available where you live. France's supervisory authority is the CNIL.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be dated on this page. This policy explains the current site; it does not authorize new uses of personal information without the notice or consent required by law.
