What happened
Como beat Parma 2–1 at the Sinigaglia on Monday, 14 September. Jacobo Ramón opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, Kaiki added the second in the 83rd, and David Romero replied in stoppage time. Como led 1–0 at half-time.
Nico Paz supplied the ball for Ramón’s opener. Kaiki finished after a sequence of saved and blocked efforts, while Pontus Almqvist set up Parma’s reply. Those are the key events; the question for us is what this win says beyond the scoreline.

After the excitement of Leipzig, another three points is exactly what we wanted. A league campaign cannot run on the emotion of special European nights alone. There have to be evenings when the reward is simply going home with the points, even if the conversation on the way out includes a few complaints.
There is something to enjoy in both goals coming from defenders. It gives opponents another problem to think about: the obvious attacking names are not the only players who can decide a match. That does not prove a permanent tactical transformation. It does make this particular win more interesting than a list of familiar scorers would have done.
Why the second goal mattered
At 2–0, the second goal can feel like a finishing touch. At 2–1, it becomes the difference between three points and a very different conversation. Kaiki’s contribution deserves that weight in our reading of the evening.
The late concession should not erase the win. Equally, winning should not erase the concession. We can be pleased with the result and still want Como to finish matches with more certainty. That is a reasonable expectation for a team asking supporters to believe in bigger things.
